Welcome!
Growing up I spent many afternoons in my mother's workshop where she created custom draperies and designs. I remember looking through books of fabric swatches, mesmerized by the color combinations and intricate patterns. When I discovered the art of marbling, I was drawn to the play of colors and creation of patterns on the water's surface. Transferring these designs onto different surfaces is magical.
I marble in my studio in the historic town of Haddonfield, just outside of Philadelphia. I am inspired by the changing colors of the seasons on the East Coast and by the colors of Provence, in the south of France where I spend time in the summer. All of my papers and designs are one of a kind although multiple similar papers can be produced by batch if requested.
